Field workforce expense and wallet system
We built mobile and web apps that let field teams record expenses against a company wallet while managers approve claims and see where teams are working.

The challenge
Field staff spent company money across many sites, and managers needed a fair, auditable way to approve claims, track wallet balances and confirm attendance during working hours.
What we built
Field staff use a mobile app to submit expenses with receipts, sign in for the day and share their location during working hours. Receipt text is extracted automatically to speed up entry.
Managers review, edit and approve claims in a web admin, and wallet balances adjust automatically when amounts change. Scheduled jobs handle automatic sign-out and hourly location check-ins.

Engineering notes
