Private cloud vault

We built a secure personal cloud vault for long-term file storage with controlled sharing on web and mobile.

The challenge

The owner needed private, long-term storage with the convenience of a consumer drive and much tighter control over who can see each file.

What we built

Files live in S3-compatible storage behind short-lived presigned links. Share links can carry passwords, expiry dates, download limits and a preview-only mode.

Every file operation is written to an audit log, and session management lets the owner revoke access from any device.

Engineering notes
