Self-hosted email campaign system

We adapted and deployed an open-source newsletter platform as a private, branded email system for a single organisation.

The challenge

The organisation wanted to send newsletters and campaigns from its own infrastructure, with no public sign-up, no telemetry and no third-party data sharing.

What we built

We forked the open-source Listmonk project, removed public sign-up and outbound telemetry, rebranded the interface and prepared it for Cloud Run with managed PostgreSQL and Amazon SES.

Before launch we completed a feature audit, a security review and a gap analysis, and documented the deployment end to end.
